Second project, the old burgundy chair

I found an identical chair in my storage building that was also in bad shape and decided to paint a grackle that had been visiting my yard all summer and use photographs of wildflowers that I had taken this summer to make a memory from the summer of 2020

All that is left to do is to let the oil paint dry and then

apply at least two coats of

polyurethane to keep the artwork from

wear and tear and to water and

weatherproof the chair.

You can't really make a mistake with this, after painting on flowers that didn't satisfy me, I scraped them off and painted right over the faded colors.

Whenever possible, try to use your own

photographs for reference. This personalizes the project.
